Well well well, team Swifty has done it once again! We had a corker of a day yesterday at our fantasy event at The Pit Studio in Nottingham and we are thrilled to hear that everyone enjoyed themselves as much as we did!
The aim of the event was to allow photographers from all backgrounds and abilities to be able to experience working with four professional models on a 121 basis. Sarah Swift, Daniel Grey, Laura Graham and Immogen Claire were of course the models and with it being fantasy themed they all created their own outfits to rock the event.
I’m sure everyone who attended will agree that the outfits were rather spectacular and the stories told about the lengths they went to in order to create them were somewhat hilarious too!!
For anyone that’s been and shot at The Pit Studio you will know that it’s a great space to work with.
For many of our photographers and models it was a new experience shooting there but from the moment they walked in their creatives minds came alive and they couldn’t wait to get cracking!
Our trusty mentor David J Severn was there to provide training and information on using the wonderful Elinchrom lighting provided by The Flash Centre.
As the day went on you could feel the creativity buzzing around the studio and it was great watching the confidence build within the group. We say this every time but it really is such an incredible feeling knowing that you’re helping others reach their goals and pursue their passion for photography.
The best bit for us is watching happy photographers smiling ear to ear over the images created and then hearing them let out a little squeak - it’s such a beautiful moment!
Everyone here is on a massive high at the moment and we totally owe it to all of our supporters.
Without you we wouldn’t be where we are today and we just want to say a massive massive thank you to you all!
Remember to keep on eye out on our website for our upcoming events and we look forward to seeing everyone again soon - plus meeting a few new faces!
Once again another cracking event with a bunch on truly lovely people.
